Salary: $220,800–$331,200 per year (New York City metropolitan area)

What you will do

• Define end-to-end identity vision and architecture for consumer Copilot and MAI, including user/account models, sign-in, session management, and service-to-service authentication.
• Lead cross-platform authentication and SSO patterns for Windows, Edge, web, iOS, and Android ensuring seamless UX and consistent security.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, privacy, and identity teams to drive improvements and align technical direction.
• Establish and monitor authentication metrics, leveraging dashboards for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Develop and ship secure, maintainable code and frameworks for adoption by other teams.
• Manage communication and project delivery across globally distributed teams and time zones.

Requirements

• Location: New York, United States, onsite work required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of technical engineering experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with consumer identity protocols, Microsoft Account integration, and cross-platform identity SDKs.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring senior engineers and driving platform standards.
• Understanding of privacy-by-design and compliance for consumer AI workloads.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years experience or equivalent.
• Experience shipping identity flows across multiple consumer client platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and web.
• Familiarity with consumer identity lifecycle management and privacy controls.
