Software Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $200,000–$315,000 USD (Annual OTE)

What you will do

• Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance product security.
• Build and drive adoption of security and privacy platform services for hirify.global’s Command SaaS platform.
• Expand the use of Enterprise-Controlled Encryption in products.
• Collaborate with the CISO to grow broader security programs.
• Share security expertise internally and externally via conferences and blogs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
• Leadership experience in building high-quality, scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Demonstrable coding skills and a desire to write code daily.
• Enthusiasm for learning new security & privacy products and strategies.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA.
