What you will do

• Design and implement new features and re-architect existing backend systems.
• Develop robust microservice integrations using REST and gRPC APIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor senior engineers.
• Define technical direction, plan roadmaps, and manage project timelines and risks.
• Lead cross-team engineering initiatives and participate in hiring and onboarding.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the US with ability to travel occasionally to Mountain View HQ.
• 8+ years of backend or full-stack development experience including IC leadership.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or C# and experience with distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with clean architecture and multiple data storage types.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
