What you will do

• Develop and optimize backend functionalities using PHP and Laravel within an evolving API-first and event-driven architecture.
• Contribute to domain modeling, performance, security, and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate in a small experienced team to build features like dynamic pricing, route optimization, and mobile apps.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and test coverage.
• Help shape future tooling, architecture, and hosting strategies.
• Take ownership and contribute to building the in-house development team.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of PHP development experience.
• Strong skills in PHP and Laravel, knowledge of JavaScript, React, or TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong communication and proactive mindset.
• Strategic thinker with ownership mentality.
• Ability to work hybrid with presence in Zwolle office 3 days per week.
