Senior Project Manager (Financial Domain)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex financial software projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, QA, and architects.
• Manage stakeholder communications, client expectations, and maintain trusted relationships.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into project objectives and ensure alignment.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption.
• Drive project progress through Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuously optimize processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience in software development, with at least 3 years managing financial or fintech projects.
• Proven success leading large-scale, multi-team projects in financial services.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong client relationships.
• Solid understanding of financial domain concepts such as portfolio management, risk, compliance, or asset management.
• Experience using project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent project management certification.
• Background in software development or technical project management.
• Experience working with distributed teams and collaborating across time zones.
