Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Develop stable, scalable, and high-performance features for B2C and B2B sports platform applications with an accent on legacy system modernization, microservices architecture, and cloud services. Location: Vienna, Austria with hybrid work setup and relocation support including visa sponsorship.

Salary: €60,000+ per year (full-time, 35h/week)

What you will do

• Develop stable, scalable, and high-performance features and improvements for team applications.
• Lead technical discussions and provide solutions to meet delivery goals.
• Drive modernization, automation, and developer experience initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate with tech leads, engineers, product managers, and designers for optimal architectures and impactful solutions.
• Enhance code quality through pair programming, code reviews, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria.
• English: Fluent written and verbal communication skills required.
• 8+ years of experience developing web applications in mid- or large-scale production systems.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, relational databases (MySQL or Postgres), and modern frontend technologies (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience in legacy system modernization, domain modeling, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services.
