Senior Embedded Developer (IoT)

TL;DR

Senior Embedded Developer (IoT): Developing middleware firmware and secure boot mechanisms for IoT product controllers with an accent on embedded systems security, audio/video processing algorithms, and build system automation. Focus on designing secure, high-quality embedded software in a hybrid work model with client office presence.

Location: Hybrid, must work from client’s office in Poland 3 days per week, residing in Poland required

What you will do

• Design and implement middleware firmware for IoT product platforms using C
• Create bootloaders for diverse hardware products
• Develop core audio/video processing algorithms for reference applications
• Integrate Secure Boot mechanisms using MBEDTLS, RSA, and asymmetric encryption
• Build unit tests with C++ and Google Test, automate testing workflows with Python and Pytest
• Maintain and improve build systems based on Makefile and CMake, collaborate in SCRUM environment

Requirements

• Must work from client’s office 3 days a week (hybrid model)
• Minimum 5 years experience in embedded systems development
• Proficiency in C for embedded systems
• Experience reviewing complex system designs for security and compliance
• Fluent English and Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• Experience creating bootloaders for various hardware architectures
• Knowledge of cryptography and computer security
• Strong knowledge of RISC-V architecture and GCC compiler
