System Design Engineer (Automotive)

System Design Engineer (Automotive): Designing and developing complex embedded automotive systems with an accent on system architecture, requirements traceability, and integration. Focus on defining system interfaces, managing requirements with MBSE tools, and supporting validation at multiple levels.

Location: Hybrid with mandatory presence twice a month at client office in Wrocław, Poland

What you will do

• Define and document system architecture and interfaces for embedded automotive systems
• Capture and manage system requirements using MBSE tools
• Collaborate closely with domain experts, software developers, and validation engineers
• Support integration, verification, and validation at component, system, and vehicle levels
• Work with global teams and support cross-functional development activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Modeling (MBSE)
• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS and Polarion
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architect tool
• Experience analyzing and documenting system requirements
• Knowledge of CAN and other communication protocols
• Good spoken and written English
• Readiness to work from client office in Wrocław twice a month

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive industry or with heavy machinery
• Previous work with standards and machinery directives
• Expertise in model-based development and simulation tools like Simulink and Stateflow
