What you will do

• Lead and grow a team building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines
• Hire, coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
• Contribute code and advocate modern agile software development practices
• Manage expectations with engineering teams, senior management, and stakeholders
• Develop and evangelize engineering and organizational best practices
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values

Requirements

• Must be able to work remotely from European, Middle East, African or American regions/time zones
• Software engineering background with Python and Golang experience
• Experience running production systems at scale, preferably Big Data or MySQL
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop people and drive engineering quality
• Open-minded attitude to new technologies and passion for building impactful products

Nice to have

• Specialist knowledge in Spark, Superset, MySQL, or similar technologies
• Experience working with open source communities
