Salary: $121,500 - $224,880 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement core engine systems to add new functionality or improve efficiency.
• Research and push the limits of game engine capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, animators, and artists on technical design and feature rollout.
• Support memory budgeting, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Review and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Must have 12+ years of systems or engine development experience.
• Experience contributing to shipped games.
• Strong C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with threaded systems architecture and performance analysis.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under deadlines.
• Relocation to Los Angeles, CA is required.

Nice to have

• Strong 3D math and algebra skills.
• Experience with bespoke internal game engines.
• Knowledge of asset pipelines and runtime memory/streaming technology.
• Experience with game networking and multi-platform development (PC, Xbox, PlayStation).
• Experience working with and extending established code bases.
