Test & Evaluation Specialist

TL;DR

Test & Evaluation Specialist (QA Automation): Building and optimizing quality and maintainable automated test scripts and solutions with an accent on web applications and database testing, and 508 compliance. Focus on designing and executing performance tests, reporting defects, and integrating testing into Agile and DevSecOps pipelines.

Location: Remote. Must obtain or already possess a Public Trust clearance, implying a US-based remote role.

What you will do

• Produce quality and maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium, TypeScript, and similar frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
• Design and execute various tests, including performance, functional, regression, load, and smoke tests for both web applications and databases.
• Report, track, validate, and close defects, ensuring support for 508 compliance test execution and documentation.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos) and contribute to overall system improvement.
• Identify regression test candidates for automation, plan automation activities across the team, and automate test cases.

Requirements

• Public Trust clearance is required (candidates with existing or recently completed investigations are preferred).
• 5+ years of development experience in the Information Technology field focusing on DevSecOps projects.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in writing and testing enterprise software solutions.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in automation framework development and troubleshooting software.
• Experience working in AWS, software containerization, and Agile development processes.
• Expert skills in test automation tools, including TestCafe, Selenium, Serenity, or Cucumber.
• Knowledge of RESTful API-based applications and experience with JSON.
