What you will do
- Lead cloud security strategy and program development in partnership with DevOps and Platform teams.
- Define and enforce cloud security policies including IAM, WAFs, and network segmentation.
- Review system architecture and perform security audits of code and configurations.
- Deploy and manage security tooling on GCP such as Cloud Armor and Security Command Center.
- Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and lead security team members, promoting secure development practices.
Requirements
- Location: Must be able to work hybrid in London or Budapest offices.
- 7+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security roles, preferably GCP.
- Experience building and scaling cloud security programs and familiarity with IAM, WAFs, SIEM, CSPM.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Knowledge of threat modeling frameworks like STRIDE and PASTA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
