What you will do

• Lead training and refinement of advanced deep learning models for complex industry use cases.
• Drive data quality initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML tasks with business goals.
• Define and implement MLOps best practices including containerization, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Architect AI agents with complex reasoning and self-improvement capabilities.
• Optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Serve as a technical expert influencing strategic AI/ML directions and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Mexicali, Mexico (onsite role)
• Master's or Ph.D. with 7+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Expertise in Python, PyTorch, deep learning frameworks, and scientific computing libraries.
• Experience with MLOps, computer vision, generative AI models, and vector search technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior management.
• Proven leadership in complex AI/ML projects and strategic initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native MLOps platforms like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Contributions to patents, academic publications, or industry standards.
