What you will do

• Develop analysis tools, datasets, and reproducible pipelines for large-scale network research.
• Perform in-depth protocol behavior studies including TCP, QUIC, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Analyze network performance metrics such as latency, jitter, loss, throughput, and path selection; build predictive models and KPIs.
• Design and conduct controlled experiments and A/B tests, validate findings in lab and real traffic environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into product improvements and platform capabilities.
• Publish research results, create visualizations, and contribute to community knowledge.

Requirements

• BSc and MSc in Computer Science.
• Strong expertise in computer networking and Internet protocols (TCP/IP, QUIC, HTTP/3, DNS, routing protocols).
• Proficiency in programming (Python, Go, or Java) and SQL; experience with big-data platforms and databases.
• Practical experience applying machine learning to network data for analytics and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, Scapy, and iperf.
• Excellent English communication skills.
