TL;DR

Senior C++ Software Engineer (Automotive): Develop software solutions for car software update functionality including Over the Air (OTA) and USB updates with an accent on embedded systems and automotive user experience. Focus on designing, troubleshooting, and improving software performance in a globally distributed agile team collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland with 47 days of remote work per year

What you will do

  • Develop software from concept through production and lifecycle support
  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of software issues
  • Modify and improve existing software for new hardware and performance
  • Collaborate with a global team on automotive user experience solutions
  • Work closely with customers and third-party suppliers to ensure software quality

Requirements

  • Location: Krakow, Poland with hybrid work setup
  • 5+ years experience in C++ development for embedded systems
  • Engineering or Master degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related
  • Experience with agile software development
  • Very good English proficiency

Nice to have

  • Automotive software experience
  • Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, QNX, Android, OTA architecture
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (gTest, gMock) and test-driven development
  • Experience writing software tests and tools in Python for CI/CD improvement
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, ARM processors, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive networks
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and SPICE processes
