WF Network & Infrastructure Engineer: Designing new network infrastructures based on virtualized environments with an accent on OT security processes and vulnerability management in wind farms. Focus on hardening of software and operating systems (Linux/Windows), planning the implementation of network concepts and network zones.

What you will do

• Design new network infrastructures in an open-source environment, mainly based on virtualized environments.
• Develop, plan, and improve OT security processes and vulnerability management in wind farms.
• Plan the implementation of network concepts and network zones.
• Harden software and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Participate in projects and 3rd level support for large and complex wind farms around the world up to 1.21 GW.
• Support global software deployment and build automation using Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with significant hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Deep understanding of operating systems such as Linux and Windows, as well as Java Uses.
• Experience with PowerShell and databases.
• Analytical thinking and logical understanding of complex issues and system architectures.
• Sound knowledge of firewalls, routers, protocols.
• English (very good written and spoken). Ideally skills in Spanish and German.
