What you will do

• Evolve lakehouse and analytics architecture on AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks for scale and reliability.
• Standardize Databricks workspaces and implement MLOps with MLflow and CI/CD.
• Build secure, tested data ingestion, transformation, and services with observability and SLAs.
• Integrate data/ML platforms with game analytics and real-time streams; coach teams on best practices.
• Establish enterprise data governance policies, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.
• Lead data modeling for player, gameplay, commerce, and marketing data with performant schemas.

Requirements

• Must be onsite in Austin, TX.
• 7+ years with data governance platforms and enterprise governance models.
• 5+ years designing data architectures and models for analytics and ML.
• Strong Python, SQL (Snowflake, Databricks), big data tools (Hive, Spark, Airflow), and streaming (Kafka/Kinesis) experience.
• Cloud experience with AWS preferred; knowledge of privacy and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, SOX).
• Experience in regulated/high-compliance industries such as gaming, finance, or healthcare.
