What you will do

• Build core client infrastructure including shared abstractions, build systems, and observability foundations.
• Improve reliability and performance by eliminating memory leaks, crashes, and frame-time inconsistencies.
• Design instrumentation and telemetry systems for profiling, structured logging, and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with product teams to increase release velocity and ship daily updates.
• Evaluate architectural tradeoffs between Electron and native approaches for critical code paths.
• Develop internal tooling to enable safe and fast shipping on the client platform.

Requirements

• Must be onsite in San Francisco or New York.
• Deep experience in client infrastructure including build systems, performance, distribution, or observability.
• Experience building or contributing to high-performance desktop applications (Electron or native).
• Strong focus on performance, reliability, and developer experience with elegant systems design.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, collaborative, and product-focused environments.
• English proficiency at least B2.
