Tech Lead Manager (AI)

Salary: $290,400–$363,000 USD annually, with potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build, profile, and optimize distributed frameworks for LLM training and inference.
• Collaborate with machine learning and research teams to accelerate model development and data curation.
• Enable next-generation LLM training, inference, evaluation, and data quality workflows.
• Research and integrate state-of-the-art technologies for ML system optimization.

Requirements

• Experience with multi-node LLM training and inference.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed machine learning systems.
• Experience with post-training methods such as RLHF or RLVR and algorithms including PPO or GRPO.
• Strong software engineering skills with CUDA, PyTorch, Transformers, FlashAttention, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Passion for system optimization.

Nice to have

• Expertise in instruction tuning, RLHF, tool use, reasoning, agents, multimodal models, or other next-generation LLM applications.
