Senior Data Platform Engineer, Knowledge Platform & AI Enablement (AI)

What you will do

• Make technical decisions, develop foundational services, integrate third-party data, and optimize performance across service, application, and data-processing layers.
• Develop and automate large-scale distributed batch and streaming data-processing systems.
• Build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using high-quality software engineering practices.
• Define shared data engineering tool standards to improve engineering productivity and output quality.
• Lead system design and drive medium- and large-scale projects across the organization.
• Provide guidance to junior data engineers and support project delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Scala, Python, and SQL.
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and establishing data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of real-time and batch processing systems.
• Experience working with data at PB scale.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kafka, data lakes, Spark, Flink, DBT, Spring Boot, Hadoop, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
