What you will do

• Manage data governance processes and metadata structures across project lifecycles.
• Ensure data quality through observability tools and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable data policies.
• Perform backend scripting for automation using JavaScript or Python.
• Maintain version control standards for data assets using Git workflows.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data management workflows.

Requirements

• Must reside in Porto, Portugal or be able to work hybrid locally.
• 3+ years of experience in data management, business analysis, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of data governance principles and data quality frameworks.
• English proficiency: Fluent required.
• Technical familiarity with JavaScript, Python, and Git.
• Experience working with Data Catalogs or Data Quality Observability tools.
