What you will do

  • Develop and optimize distributed backend services and model pipelines for bidding optimizations.
  • Work on algorithmic, optimization, and scale challenges in backend systems.
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile, distributed team across multiple time zones and continents.
  • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Utilize a broad range of technologies and tools to build scalable and efficient systems.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia for onsite work
  • English: B2 level or higher
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C# and .Net programming.
  • Experience with distributed systems and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of code editors (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Rider) and version control (Git).

Nice to have

  • Experience with database engines such as Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, AeroSpike, Vertica, Redis.
  • Experience building microservices, working with operating systems, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
