What you will do

• Own core software features end-to-end on the robotic stack, from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with AI, Controls, Firmware, Hardware, and Manufacturing teams to resolve bugs and improve architecture.
• Lead test plan definition and validation for new software and firmware features.
• Improve firmware diagnostics and self-tests using end-of-life data to accelerate robot bring-up.
• Assist manufacturing and service teams with software release, bring-up, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with Test Infrastructure to add automated tests and diagnostics to catch regressions early.

Requirements

• Must be located in San Jose, CA with onsite presence 5 days/week.
• Strong debugging skills for complex hardware/software systems.
• Programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience integrating and validating complex software systems in robotics, mechatronics, or electric vehicles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
• Self-sufficient with strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
