Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform)

Compensation: $168,000–$324,500

What you will do

• Build and integrate components of the Analytics and Machine Learning platforms.
• Develop tools to improve the agility and data experience for applied scientists and engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on building and productionizing ML applications.
• Design reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient systems across the infrastructure stack.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Experience building infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Intuition for analytics and machine learning workflows.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Expertise with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience building online ML systems or feature stores.
• Experience with Datadog and streaming systems.
