What you will do

• Architect, design, and lead development of mission-critical flight payload software systems.
• Take technical responsibility throughout the software development process.
• Lead and mentor the flight software engineering team.
• Analyze customer requirements and manage design documentation and risk.
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams across the product lifecycle.
• Manage work packages and enforce configuration management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience with mission-critical software development.
• Experience with satellite projects; operations experience is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to analyze data, manage design documentation, and approve design changes.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with external vendors and consortium partners.
• Ability to lead and inspire a trans-national agile team.
