What you will do

• Lead and drive high-impact AI safety research themes from concept to publication.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s AI safety research vision and agenda development.
• Support hirify.global’s leadership in AI safety through thought leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify impactful research opportunities balancing scientific and practical priorities.
• Deliver evaluations and red-teaming projects in high-risk domains like CBRN and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in London, UK
• Proven track record in high-impact AI research with top-tier publications or equivalent experience.
• Deep domain knowledge in language models, generative AI architectures, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Practical machine learning experience focusing on robustness, explainability, or uncertainty estimation.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and ML tooling like HuggingFace.
• Strong Python engineering skills and excellent communication abilities.
