What you will do

• Conceptualize, model, and texture characters with high artistic quality and technical precision.
• Collaborate within the Character Art team to deliver characters that tell compelling stories.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, hair authoring, facial blendshapes, and wrinkle maps.
• Support scan development pipelines and use Marvelous Designer where applicable.
• Maintain a portfolio demonstrating flexibility, creativity, and strong fundamentals.

Requirements

• Must be located onsite in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
• Proven experience as a Character Artist with at least one published game.
• Strong skills in Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter.
• Good understanding of topology, UVs, texturing, and anatomy.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 and MetaHuman.
• Portfolio showcasing a wide range of character art examples.
