Mid-Senior Software Engineer (Spring, Spring Boot) (Java backend and microservices): Designing, developing, and maintaining large web-based Spring applications with a focus on microservices architecture, robust implementation, and software quality. Focus on building backend services with Java and Spring Boot, deploying with Docker and Kubernetes, and testing and supporting core software tools.
Location: Thessaloniki, Greece; hybrid working model

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components of large web-based Spring applications.
- Build and support applications based on microservices architecture.
- Work with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Participate in implementing robust applications for large-scale transformation projects.
- Test and provide early life support for software tools and assets created during development projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Docker.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively in an agile team.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Experience with React.
- Familiarity with Liquibase.
