TL;DR
Mid-Senior Software Engineer (Spring, Spring Boot) (Java/Spring): Designing, developing, and maintaining back-end components of large web-based applications using microservices architecture with an accent on robust implementation and software quality. Focus on building Spring Boot services, working with Docker and Kubernetes, and testing and supporting core software tools in large-scale transformation projects.
Location: Patras, Greece; hybrid working model

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of large web-based applications.
- Build and work with microservices-based Spring applications.
- Use Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes in software development projects.
- Participate in implementing robust applications for large-scale transformation projects.
- Test and manage early-life support for core software tools and development assets.
- Collaborate in agile teams serving clients across European institutions, telecom, sports betting and lotteries, fintech, healthtech insurance, and public-sector projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Docker.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and team spirit.
- Ability to work in agile teams on large-scale software transformation projects.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Experience with React.
- Familiarity with Liquibase.
