What you will do

• Triage and resolve difficult technical problems affecting system reliability.
• Improve observability stack including monitoring, logging, and profiling.
• Manage incidents and conduct post-incident reviews to implement improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to design reliable and scalable features.
• Monitor system capacity and performance, recommending and implementing changes for growth.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• 5+ years managing multi-terabyte scale PostgreSQL clusters with high availability and performance.
• Experience designing and implementing SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for internal systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Prometheus, and Linux.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting PostgreSQL performance and schema design.
• Location: Remote work limited to North America Eastern Time Zone

Nice to have

• Knowledge of trading and fintech domains.
• Experience with low-latency systems and distributed tracing.
• Experience scaling PostgreSQL clusters rapidly.
• Familiarity with pgx, gorm, or sqlc.
