What you will do

• Define and execute global security and compliance strategies aligned with risk appetite and standards like ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle and implement DevSecOps pipelines with automated security checks.
• Secure multi-cloud environments and lead security architecture reviews adopting innovative technologies.
• Establish and manage Security Operations Center, lead incident response and vulnerability management.
• Maintain compliance certifications and enforce data protection policies including GDPR and NIS2.
• Lead client security engagements and manage a global security team collaborating across departments.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
• English: Proficient English required for effective communication.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field with relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, etc.).
• 8+ years in information security with 3+ years in leadership roles and experience in global environments.
• Hands-on expertise in SOC operations, secure development, cloud security, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
