What you will do
- Define and execute global security and compliance strategies aligned with risk appetite and standards like ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Embed security into the software development lifecycle and implement DevSecOps pipelines with automated security checks.
- Secure multi-cloud environments and lead security architecture reviews adopting innovative technologies.
- Establish and manage Security Operations Center, lead incident response and vulnerability management.
- Maintain compliance certifications and enforce data protection policies including GDPR and NIS2.
- Lead client security engagements and manage a global security team collaborating across departments.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
- English: Proficient English required for effective communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field with relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, etc.).
- 8+ years in information security with 3+ years in leadership roles and experience in global environments.
- Hands-on expertise in SOC operations, secure development, cloud security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
