What you will do

• Develop simulation models and tools to optimize power systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand requirements and design solutions.
• Create virtual representations of real-time control and protection systems.
• Test and validate power system models and tools.
• Produce technical documentation and reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to simulation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to work in Sweden (Ludvika or Västerås)
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power/Energy Engineering or related field.
• Experience with control/signal theory, dynamic modelling, and power system tools (e.g., PSCAD, PSSE, PowerFactory).
• Programming knowledge or interest in C++, C#, Fortran, Python, MATLAB, Modellica.
• Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work independently.
