What you will do

• Manage and improve service lifecycle from design to operation and refinement.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues.
• Support pre-launch activities including system design consulting and capacity planning.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and system health.
• Optimize reliability monitoring, alerting, and scale systems sustainably through automation.
• Define and revise Service Level Indicators and practice sustainable incident response.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the UK&I division.
• Strong experience with release/build pipelines (Jenkins, Buildkite, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containerized microservices and distributed infrastructure (AWS, GCP, self-hosted cloud).
• Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles and incident management best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Scala, Kotlin).

Nice to have

• Experience with telemetry solutions and infrastructure as code tools (Chef, Puppet, Terraform).
• Knowledge of networking best practices and observability.
• Experience with automated service configuration at the edge (CDN, certificate renewal).
• Project management and communication skills for technical concepts.
• Thought leadership in SRE community (e.g., speaking at conferences).
