What you will do

• Evaluate SoC vendor development kits
• Develop update mechanisms for Android OS and applications
• Collaborate with vendors, hardware teams, and stakeholders to define UX platform requirements
• Bring up Android on new hardware
• Provide technical support for teams working on Android devices

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role in Mountain View or San Francisco, California, United States
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience with low-level Android/AOSP platform development
• Experience with git, repo, and gerrit

Nice to have

• Experience bringing up Android on new hardware or customizing Android builds
• Knowledge of Android security, SELinux, and key provisioning
