Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will do

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide feedback
• Create detailed test plans and test cases; estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, document, and track bugs; perform regression testing
• Develop testing processes for new and existing features; liaise with developers and product managers
• Monitor debugging, investigate issues, track QA metrics like defect densities

Requirements

• Experience in software development and quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes; writing test plans and cases
• Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing, automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development process
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
