Automation Test Engineer

What you will do

• Design and execute functional, integration, and performance test plans based on business requirements.
• Implement automated functional tests using Selenium and backend tests using JUnit.
• Develop API tests with Postman and performance tests using Locust.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain existing scripts.
• Monitor test sessions, report issues, and perform quality checks after resolution.
• Document testing activities, including traceability matrices and daily quality reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria or able to work from the office.
• At least 3 years of experience in a testing environment within cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium with Java.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level).
• Certified Selenium Tester.
• Experience with SoapUI and test management tools like Xray.
