TL;DR

Backend Engineer (AI): Designing, building, and maintaining server-side components for an AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner with an accent on API & service architecture, database design, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on implementing secure solutions, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Location: On-site in Lisbon

Compensation: €52K – €65K

What you will do

Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
Model data and manage queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL.
Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews.
Implement secure solutions for authentication and data protection.
Participate in architecture discussions and mentor team members.

Requirements

5+ years in backend engineering roles.
Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based services.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Solid knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture practices.
Effective communicator and proactive team contributor.
