Senior Test Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Test Engineer (QA Testing): Develop and execute functional automated and manual tests within an agile team to deliver high-quality application software with an accent on both frontend and backend testing, continuous integration, and cloud architecture. What you will do

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests covering frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate within a multi-skilled agile team using Kanban or Scrum methodologies.
• Work in continuous integration environments using tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Manage version control with Git or SVN.
• Improve testing processes and produce assurance artefacts such as test plans and reports.
• Test APIs, microservices, and databases using SQL.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
• Experience working in Agile teams and continuous integration environments.
• Knowledge or experience in non-functional testing.
• Ability to quickly learn new business domains or architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like Browserstack or Saucelabs.
• Experience producing assurance artefacts such as test plans, reports, and metrics.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and databases.
