What you will do

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide product security strategies for embedded systems, hardware, and applications.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing product security team.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and executive teams to integrate security into product roadmaps.
• Design security architectures for IoT devices, microcontrollers, and embedded platforms.
• Manage risk assessments, compliance with industry standards, and vulnerability disclosure programs.
• Oversee secure software development lifecycle and application security testing frameworks.

Requirements

• Location: Position based in Mettawa, IL, USA
• English: Proficient (B2) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years of product security experience with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Expertise in embedded systems security, hardware security, and application security.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and industry certifications like CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in automotive, medical devices, or industrial IoT.
• Background in penetration testing and red team exercises.
• Knowledge of machine learning security and AI/ML system protection.
