What you will do

  • Lead electrical design, documentation, validation, and qualification of storage hardware subsystems and platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, perform failure and root cause analysis.
  • Define, implement, and automate hardware validation and qualification tests to improve efficiency and robustness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and support teams to integrate new storage subsystems.
  • Work directly with hyperscale customers and ODM/JDM partners to tailor solutions to their requirements.

Requirements

  • Must work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
  • Senior-level experience in hardware design and qualification, especially with x86 architectures and related interfaces.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, signal integrity, protocol, and functional hardware qualification.
  • Strong debugging skills with major bus technologies (PCIe, UPI/XGMI, Ethernet) and use of oscilloscopes and bus analyzers.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and BASH for test development and automation.
  • English proficiency at least B2 level.
