What you will do

• Own electrical design and validation of PCIe interfaces for SSD products, focusing on PCIe Gen5 and Gen6 devices.
• Conduct signal integrity simulations and collaborate with external partners on high-speed interface validation and compliance.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, lead failure analysis, and conduct root cause investigations with internal teams and external vendors.
• Leverage scripting skills to automate SSD design and validation workflows using Python and BASH.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies.
• Strong expertise in high-speed electrical design, PCIe fundamentals, and PCIe debug for Gen5/Gen6 devices.
• Experience in hardware design including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
• Proficiency with PCIe test equipment and signal integrity simulation tools.
• Experience validating hardware at electrical, SI, protocol, and functional levels.
• Ability to use scripting languages like Python and BASH for automation.
