Salary: $175,000 - $263,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and deliver high-performance firmware for DirectFlash™ SSD Modules with PCIe focus.
• Lead bring-up and integration of new PCIe-based hardware ensuring specification compliance.
• Develop and maintain PCIe features including LTSSM, power management, hot-plug support, and error handling.
• Debug complex firmware, driver, and hardware issues and build advanced diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on PCIe PHY integration, validation, and signal integrity.
• Work onsite in Santa Clara, CA office as per company policy.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
• Deep expertise in embedded firmware development and PCIe architecture.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with PCIe firmware bring-up, debugging, and compliance tools.
• Proven ability to debug complex cross-domain issues involving firmware, hardware, and drivers.
