• Lead the Networking Observability team in building core distributed database components.
• Improve hirify.global's networking and resource utilization efficiency.
• Develop low-overhead observability features for distributed processes.
• Influence performance and robustness of the open-source database.
• Work on new architectural directions and integrate tools like OpenTelemetry.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-team stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building distributed systems.
• Experience building production-level C++ code.
• Strong understanding of modern computer architecture and internals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English C1+).
• Good computer networking fundamentals.
• Demonstrated industry success in high performance/low latency networking, performance tuning, or building high-performance distributed/concurrent systems.
