Python Software Engineer

What you will do

• Develop backend application services and APIs.
• Integrate systems with AWS, GCP, and external cloud services.
• Optimize backend components for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement caching, queuing, and background-processing systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Support an agile engineering team and participate in periodic on-call duties.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing scalable and robust software.
• Strong Python skills with knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, Asyncio, and Python web frameworks such as Django, DRF, or Flask.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Experience with microservices, caching, data visualization, logging, search, and queuing systems.
• Experience working in Linux environments and with shell scripting.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern AI tools and practices for developer productivity.
• Experience with open-source technologies including ELK Stack, Sentry, Redis, and Git.
