What you will do

• Lead internal engineering initiatives to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems improving engineering productivity and reliability.
• Architect complex backend systems focusing on performance, modularity, and extensibility using Java, Golang, and modern platforms.
• Drive impact in data and AI by applying machine learning, platformization, and agentic AI innovations.
• Shape product roadmaps and technical decisions with a product-centric mindset to impact customer and business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers, foster continuous learning, and grow technical leadership capacity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with platform, infrastructure, product, and security teams to deliver aligned solutions.

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to work onsite in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Senior-level experience in building and scaling complex backend systems and platforms.
• Deep expertise in Java, Golang, system architecture, and modern backend platforms.
• Experience applying machine learning and AI innovations in production environments.
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills to nurture engineering culture.
• English proficiency at least B2 level (posting language is English).

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD automation, observability, and configuration management.
• Background in fintech or mobility platforms.
