Business Analyst (Gamedev): Analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of online and mobile game players with an accent on providing actionable recommendations and conclusions from game data to shape features, game economies, and future product roadmaps. Focus on driving insights that will help produce better games and that will drive monetization and retention improvements.

What you will do
- Analyze large and complex datasets describing the behavior of millions of online and mobile game players.
- Answer strategic and operational business questions through data analysis.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve game features, economies, monetization, retention, and product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal departments to turn player and business insights into better games.
- Build automated dashboards and reports covering key business metrics and player experiences.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of analytical work experience, preferably in a web or mobile company or the online gaming industry.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying large, complex datasets.
- Methodical approach to data and the ability to present findings clearly to support business decisions.
- High analytical and problem-solving ability, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for understanding consumers’ social gaming behavior and tolerance for ambiguity.
- BA/B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.
Nice to have
- Advanced Excel, Tableau, and Vertica knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models, including R or SAS.
