Senior Platform Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Platform Engineer (Backend): Building and maintaining core infrastructure and internal platform services with an accent on scalability, reliability, and security. Focus on designing and managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps-based continuous delivery, and ensuring disaster recovery and high availability across global environments.

Location: 100% remote-friendly within Poland with optional hybrid work from Warsaw hub

What you will do

• Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple continents
• Design, implement, and manage continuous delivery pipelines using GitOps
• Ensure disaster recovery procedures are current, tested, and documented
• Guarantee high availability of service deployments through automation and best practices
• Troubleshoot critical issues and optimize system performance
• Provide day-to-day support and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• Must be located in Poland or able to work remotely within Poland
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Strong experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and Argo Rollouts
• Experience building secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments
• Comfortable scripting or developing tools in Bash or Go

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm charts
• Familiarity with Karpenter, KEDA, Velero, and Cilium
• Understanding of disaster recovery planning and cloud infrastructure strategies
