What you will do

• Develop and maintain Go backend services in a microservice architecture communicating with a TypeScript React frontend.
• Use event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS for reliable asynchronous communication.
• Optimize queries and data handling with databases such as Druid, MySQL, and Redis for low-latency responses.
• Provide data transparency and open APIs to support partners' business needs.
• Collaborate with Data Science team to integrate ML algorithms for ad optimization.
• Manage large-scale API event collection and aggregation for fast data querying.

Requirements

• Must be open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany
• 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in Go backend development.
• Experience with key-value databases like Redis and DynamoDB and performance optimization.
• Proficient in profiling Go applications and optimizing bottlenecks.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and serverless infrastructure.
• Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic Go applications.
