Senior Engineer (5G NR & LTE)

TL;DR

Senior Engineer (5G NR & LTE): Development and testing of signaling and RF Pre-conformance test cases and integration of protocol test tools with an accent on 3GPP protocol signaling, RF feature specification, and test automation. Focus on designing and executing protocol test scenarios, log analysis, and collaboration with international R&D teams.

What you will do

• Develop and test signaling and RF Pre-conformance test cases
• Integrate R&S protocol test tool and create protocol signaling and RF feature specifications
• Define quality gates including test scripts, test plans, and regression tests
• Execute protocol test scenarios on R&S test platform, analyze logs, and report errors to development teams
• Collaborate closely with management, stakeholders, and international R&D teams
• Cooperate with the CMsequencer R&D team

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications Engineering from a top university/college
• 8+ years of experience in 3GPP protocol signaling and 3GPP RF Pre-Conformance testing
• Experience in Python programming
• In-depth knowledge of 3GPP Test Specifications for 5G-NR and LTE radio protocols (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, NAS layers)
• Strong understanding of 5G NR domain (ENDC, Standalone, FR1, FR2)
• Experience with RTC, RQM, Docker, and test automation tools like Jenkins
• Excellent communication, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
