TL;DR

Lead CMDB (ServiceNow): Building and executing CMDB strategy for enterprise IT assets with an accent on compliance with ITIL and CSDM frameworks and ensuring data integrity. Focus on technical leadership in ServiceNow solutioning for discovery and service mapping, and managing CMDB operations.

Location: Toronto, Canada. Flexible hybrid work model. Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity is required.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 CAD

What you will do

• Define CMDB scope and objectives, aligning with hirify.global Products & Services.
• Design and implement CMDB Structure and Processes.
• Manage CMDB Operations, including CI recording, lifecycle, and relationship mappings.
• Provide technical leadership in building ServiceNow-based solutions for CI discovery and service maps.
• Ensure the integrity and 360-degree coverage of hirify.global’s CMDB/CSDM.
• Perform configuration audits and assist with ITSM process audits and report generation.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in Information Technology, including building and managing discovery and service mapping solutions on ServiceNow.
• Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Asset and Configuration Management processes and Service Management processes.
• Hands-on experience with Asset / CMDB tools.
• Experience identifying and resolving Discovery issues with working knowledge of Cloud or on-prem infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware, UNIX, Windows).
• In-depth knowledge of networking, ServiceNow reconciliation process, and ServiceNow discovery patterns/scripts (PowerShell, JavaScript).

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS, Discovery fundamental).
• ITIL 4 certification.
• Master's Degree in a technical field.
